Staying for now.

I'm staying here. For now. Why? For a few reasons:

1) There is a lawsuit being filed against DA regarding its AI DreamUp service, along with the AI services of Midjourney and Stable Diffusion. I am hoping the tides turn in our favor and this at least results in DA getting rid of DreamUp.

2) The alternatives I have found so far stink.

3) I can't really just abandon those who have decided to stay. Especially in this crummy economy, I feel like I should at least help them out whenever I am able to.

However, leaving is still on the table, especially if things go really south. It's just that what seemed like an easy decision at the time in has turned into a very complicated and difficult one. I feel like a filthy hypocrite, but at the very least, I take comfort in the fact that I am not paying for Core membership anymore. DA will not get any more of my money.

Currently, it seems it is possible for me to get my characters through the printing process.

Being more ambitious with this, though, will require some workarounds regarding such things as group dynamics and other such concerns; I've been making plans for possibly putting those into action once (and if) the time comes. It doesn't look like I'll have to fiddle with color issues, either- the printing house seems to accept RGB-formatted pictures. The wait time is manageable, too; the last printing house I used I had to wait two whole months for one thing to come in.

However, this assumes that I'll have time (not to mention money) to further pursue these ambitions now that I have received the tester booklet. I should have adequate time (and money) to try at least something in the future, but please do not hold me to it.

Thanks to everyone who helped (online and outside the Internet) or offered to help with my financial problem. Things have begun to work themselves out; as such, I can breathe a little easier. Those who I had accepted commissions but haven't gotten started on yet; if you want to cancel, let me know; I'd fully accept. If you still want a commission regardless of things working themselves out, I'll still keep the $10 sketch commission offer up for a while.

I really need some help, as I am in hot water at the moment. I am in important need of money to help pay off emergency vet expenses for my dog. I'm opening up $10 full-body sketch commissions, and am willing to do as many as I can. I'll compile them all into one big picture afterwards (after sending individual pictures to recipients, of course.) Money can be sent through PayPal. I will drop the prices for color commissions down to $15. There is no cost for extra characters. I would really appreciate the help.
